The ideal candidate will welcome guests, take and prepare orders, assist with food preparation, maintain clean and organized service areas, and work closely with the team to provide an efficient and welcoming dining experience. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve tacos, Mexican-inspired food, beverages, and other menu items according to restaurant standards Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments accurately Answer guests' questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options Check orders for accuracy before serving or handing them to guests Maintain clean and organized dining, counter, kitchen, and service areas Restock food ingredients, beverages, packaging, condiments, and other supplies Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with takeout and pickup orders when required Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties as needed Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant procedures Handle guest requests and concerns in a polite and professional manner Perform additional duties assigned by restaurant management Requirements Previous restaurant, food-service, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures Good attention to cleanliness and detail Basic POS and cash-handling experience is a plus Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling options On-the-job training Supportive and team-oriented work environment Employee meal or discount opportunities may be available Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Benefits may vary based on position, location, employment status, and eligibility.
