We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Member to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing food and kitchen items to order while following recipes, maintaining quality and consistency, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, can follow detailed instructions, and takes pride in preparing products accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare food and kitchen items to order according to established recipes and standards Read, understand, and accurately follow recipes, measurements, and preparation instructions Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, taste, and quality Complete prep work and restocking as needed throughout the day Properly store, label, date, and rotate ingredients and prepared items Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly Monitor ingredient levels and communicate when items need to be replenished Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams Receive, move, and put away deliveries and supplies Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Wash dishes, clean equipment, surfaces, floors, and other areas as needed Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly Follow company standards, procedures, and direction from management Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity, including: Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs Standing and walking for extended periods of time Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies Repetitive hand and arm movements Working in a hot, cold, wet, or fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to safely handle kitchen equipment, ingredients, containers, and supplies Ability to maintain productivity and attention to detail throughout a shift Qualifications Previous kitchen, food preparation, restaurant, or café experience preferred but not required Ability to read and follow recipes accurately Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and organized Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and follow established systems and procedures Food Handler certification preferred or ability to obtain one as required

Pay:

$20.50 - $25.00 per hour
