The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, particularly in sushi preparation and presentation. This role involves crafting high-quality sushi dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The Sushi Chef will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and assemble sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and creativity. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously enhance menu offerings. Skills Experience in catering services is a plus, with the ability to handle large orders efficiently. Strong background in restaurant operations, including food handling and service standards. Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special requests from guests. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality of dishes. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
