11th Hour Coffee Shop is a vibrant and popular café located in the heart of Santa Cruz. We pride ourselves on serving specialty house-roasted coffee, delicious pastries, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our community. We are currently seeking outgoing, flexible, and dependable Kitchen team members to join our crew! Our kitchen menu features sandwiches, salad bowls, avocado toast, french toast, omelettes, and more! We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Team Member to assist with day-to-day prep, operations, and service in our bustling coffee shop. Our menu primarily features breakfast and brunch items with fairly simple production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of the Kitchen leads, complete daily kitchen prep, including ingredient preparation and inventory management. Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Assist in cooking and assembling breakfast and brunch items in accordance with our recipes and quality standards. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Provide exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a kitchen and on a deli line, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience prepping food with adequate knife skills and food safety. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability to work 3-5 days a week
