Elderly Lunch Program Manager

Are you someone who enjoys working with older adults and creating a warm, welcoming environment? We are seeking a dependable and compassionate individual to support our lunch program at the Mark Twain Elderly Congregate Living Center. This position plays an important role in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a friendly and respectful setting. Some meals are prepared on-site, while others are provided through an outside partner, requiring coordination and basic food preparation skills.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee daily lunch service Assist with light meal preparation and food handling Receive and serve meals delivered from an outside vendor Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area Interact positively with residents, fostering a welcoming atmosphere Monitor meal quality and report any concerns

Qualifications:

Experience with cooking or food service preferred Ability to work independently and stay organized Patience, kindness, and a genuine interest in working with older adults Reliable and punctual Why Join Us?
