Pastry Assistant We are looking for candidates with restaurant experience to prepare a variety of desserts for the restaurant. The ideal candidates will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide guests with the best possible experience.

Responsibilities:

Know and understand basic restaurant style pastry skills The ability to following recipes Assist in the preparation of a wide variety of goods such as cakes, mousses, custards and cookies, etc. Assist plating desserts where the presentation is on point Maintain a clean and organized work station. Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety standards Help with the nightly clean-up

Skills:

Position requires individuals to know and understand basic restaurant style pastry skills The ability to following recipes Great attention to detail Must be able to perform well under pressure in a fast paced restaurant environment In depth knowledge of safety and sanitation principles of food preparation Working knowledge of baking techniques Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, proficient with stairs, and stand for extended periods
