Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all food items are prepared according to our high standards, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. This position requires weekend hours up to 3pm on Saturday and up to 2pm on Sundays.

Pay rates:

No experience: $17.00 per hour Minimum 3 years experience: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Duties Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, and ovens safely and effectively. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in cleaning duties after meal service, including washing and sanitizing surfaces. Skills Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods. Experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Basic knife skills for efficient ingredient preparation. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of food handling safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
