Qualifications Cooking Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chefs in the daily operations of the kitchen, including working on the line during service times. Assist in ordering supplies and ingredients, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all products are of the highest quality. Work closely with the Chefs to manage groups and special dinners, ensuring that all culinary needs are met and exceeded. Manage labor effectively. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and report any issues to the Chefs for prompt resolution. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the kitchen, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
