This role is mainly focused on the kitchen. You will help prepare food, cook menu items, keep the kitchen clean and organized, restock your station, and make sure orders are prepared correctly and on time. From time to time, you may also help with packaging orders, customers, or other areas of the restaurant when needed. We serve pizza, kabob, shawarma, wings, pasta, wraps, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food, desserts, and more, so this is a good opportunity for someone who wants to learn different parts of restaurant and kitchen work. We do not expect you to know everything on your first day. During your first weeks, you will learn our kitchen, menu, recipes, equipment, and way of working. As you become more comfortable, we want you to take responsibility for your station, work with confidence, and become someone the team can depend on. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available based on experience, availability, performance, and the needs of the restaurant. Duties Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes, portions, and restaurant standards Assist with cooking menu items Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, preparation equipment, and other tools safely Keep your station and the overall kitchen clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner Help receive, organize, rotate, and store ingredients and supplies Occasionally assist with customers, taking orders, or other restaurant responsibilities when the team needs support Work closely with other team members and help wherever necessary to keep service running smoothly Take increasing responsibility for your work as you become trained and comfortable in the position Qualifications Previous restaurant, kitchen, pizza shop, fast-food, catering, or food-preparation experience is preferred, but not required Willingness to learn quickly and accept training Reliable, responsible, and able to show up on time Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment Able to work independently once trained while also working well as part of a team Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, timing, and organization Respectful and friendly attitude toward coworkers and customers Ability to communicate when you need help, notice a problem, or have an idea Willingness to take responsibility and grow into additional duties over time Basic English communication is helpful, but perfect English is not required What You Can Expect From Us Pizzarro is a family-owned and operated business, and we believe respect should go both ways.
