As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming. Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a PM Utility Steward to join our team. This position handles equipment (both dirty & clean), cleans and sanitizes equipment (both manually and with automated equipment - dish machine), sweeps and mops floors in the kitchen and pantry areas and adheres to all safety and sanitation standards. Job Requirements Ensure that all food service and preparation equipment is clean and sanitized Scrape and spray all food service equipment before it enters the dishwashing machine Rack all china and glassware properly according to type and size to avoid breakage Separate all food service equipment and store it properly in designated areas Keep the dishwashing area clean and safe and report any problems to the supervisor Assist in other areas such as setup, silver burnishing and food runner as needed Assist in plating for banquet functions and store food requisitions Perform special cleaning projects in kitchen areas as assigned Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision Ability to work flexible schedule to include late hours, weekends and holidays Environment Ability to bend, stoop, walk, lift up 50 lb. and push and pull up to 100 lb. Ability to work a full eight-hour shift walking and standing Ability to transport heavy equipment through public areas, including the Kitchen environment, pantries, and several crowed areas both in the back and front of the house areas in a safe and professional manner.
