Duties Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure high-quality dishes are produced efficiently. Support chefs and kitchen staff with food prep tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards. Help with food service operations by plating dishes, setting up serving stations, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to promote a safe kitchen environment. Assist in catering events or large-scale meal preparations as needed, ensuring all food is prepared according to specifications. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of stock shortages. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques are highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
