Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to provide exceptional customer service. Duties Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and manage timing for food preparation. Monitor food presentation and quality, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards before they reach the customer. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area, including proper storage of supplies. Help resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders promptly and professionally. Collaborate with servers to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Requirements Previous experience in food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting. A passion for customer service and helping create memorable dining experiences. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
