Duties Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen manager. Ensure all food safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Help with catering services as needed, contributing to special events and functions. Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Collaborate with team members in the dietary department to meet specific dietary needs and preferences. Support the overall operations of the kitchen by performing various tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; training may be provided for those new to the field. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
