In this role, you will support the personal chef in food preparation, maintain safety and cleaning standards, and assist with daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Cleanliness is a large part of the responsibility in this position. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality meals and excellent guest experiences. This is a seasonal position that runs from November through the beginning of March. We are hiring for day shift and night shift. Duties Assist with food preparation including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Support meal production by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately to maintain consistency. Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety management standards. Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and serving, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards in production and food areas. Support serving activities by preparing plates or trays for delivery or customer service areas while maintaining a high level of hygiene. Contribute to sensory evaluation processes by ensuring food quality meets established standards before service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, providing familiarity with kitchen routines and guest service expectations. Demonstrated culinary experience including basic knife skills, food preparation techniques, and familiarity with food industry standards. Knowledge of food safety practices including handling, storage, sanitation procedures, and safety standards in production environments. Experience operating food preparation equipment such as slicers, mixers, and ovens Ability to perform basic math for portioning ingredients and managing inventory accurately. Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass both background and drug test
Pay:
