Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pantry Worker and become an essential part of delivering nourishing, delicious meals in a fast-paced culinary environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained, and assist in the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following established recipes and safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the pantry area by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and storage spaces in accordance with food safety standards Support meal preparation and food service activities, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy service times Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs or shortages Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong food handling skills Understanding of safety standards in production environments to maintain a safe workspace Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to meal preparation guidelines Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, slicing techniques, and food safety management are essential Catering experience or background in the food industry is a plus but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while ensuring every meal served meets high standards of quality and safety. Pay:
