We are looking for a dependable and motivated Prep Kitchen Associate to join our seafood retail market team. Our market prepares most deli items in-house, including fresh seafood salads, spreads, sauces, and ready-to-eat meals. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality, freshness, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare seafood salads, dips, sauces, and other deli items according to recipes Clean, cut, portion, and handle seafood and other ingredients Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards are followed Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries Support front-of-house staff with product replenishment when needed Follow all food safety and health department guidelines

Requirements:

Previous kitchen, deli, or food prep experience preferred Comfortable handling seafood products Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
