Job Description

Position Summary (Part-Time Dining Hall Associate):•Join the award-winning UGA Dining Services team as a Part-Time Dining Hall Associate! In this role, you'll support our dining hall operations in front-of-house and back-of-house functions. Responsibilities may include food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness, supporting health and sanitation standards, dishwashing, trash removal, and other duties that help ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable dining experience for our students and guests. You'll work closely with cooks and kitchen staff in a fast-paced, team -oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for an individual seeking flexible hours, valuable work experience, and the chance to be part of a supportive and engaging campus community. This is a non-benefits eligible position.
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, dependable, and hard-working team players. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience in food service or kitchen work is helpful, but not required. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Lift and move up to 50lbs. Perform repetitive motions using wrists, arms and shoulders. Work in hot and cold environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals, dusts, fumes and odors. Stand for long periods and work in high-temperature conditions.
