Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will support food preparation, ensure safety standards are maintained, and assist in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including early morning start to bake of bagels and malasadas and prep for the breakfast shift. From 6-11am we run the breakfast line and clean up finishes at 11:15 Operate basic food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance Handle food safely by adhering to food safety management standards and proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with safety standards in production Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and portioning is advantageous Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and safe handling practices in a professional kitchen environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
