Full Time, Afternoon Shift in Lihue, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. PM Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 18+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Document patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
