A Kitchen Staff assists with food preparation as directed by cooks, food supervisors or chefs. Cleans kitchen work areas and dishes. Prepares ingredients for dishes to be cooked, prepares beverages, and stocks salad bars or buffet tables.
This person is responsible to top all the donuts before the store opens for the day. The shift starts at 3am every day. This will be a part time position.
Key Responsibilities:
(Team Members are responsible for one or more of the duties listed below.) Greet guests and ensure they are promptly served; operate Point-of-Sale system to process guest transactions; and complete Daily Task List and Shift Checklist, as directed. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior of store in accordance with Company standards. Responsible for shift recovery, stocking products, and providing the next shift with adequate supplies. Manage the assets of Casey's by following asset protection processes, completing required audits, accurately handling monetary transactions, and following kitchen procedures. Take guest orders, by phone or in person. Prepare food items and keep warmers and cold cases stocked according to company procedures. Maintain sanitary condition of service and kitchen areas according to Company standards. Abide by Casey's dress and grooming standards. Perform all duties according to Casey's processes and procedures. Perform other related duties, as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Demonstrate a positive attitude, desire to help people, and ability to cooperate and function as part of a team. Functional reading, writing, and math skills. Education and Experience No minimum education requirement. No prior experience necessary. Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Work is performed in a store setting with fluctuating temperatures (kitchen, cooler, freezer, indoors, outdoors) and near other team members and guests. The job requires the ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing; the ability to hear and understand speech and other sounds; and the ability to use eyesight to complete tasks.
