Duties Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning for meal service Support food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Help with plating dishes and serving food during meal times or catering events Follow proper knife skills for slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients efficiently Assist in setting up catering orders and ensuring timely delivery of meals Skills Proven experience or interest in cooking and food preparation techniques Strong knife skills for precise cutting and slicing tasks Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment Familiarity with restaurant or catering settings is a plus Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with chefs and staff Passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn culinary skills This paid position offers an exciting chance to develop your culinary expertise while contributing to a vibrant kitchen team.
