A Kitchen Staff assists with food preparation as directed by cooks, food supervisors or chefs. Cleans kitchen work areas and dishes. Prepares ingredients for dishes to be cooked, prepares beverages, and stocks salad bars or buffet tables.

Opening up the kitchen and dining room each morning Getting breakfast items out for residents Checking all temps (dishwasher/refrigerators, freezers) Noon meal preparation for approximately 50 residents Assist in serving the noon meal Ordering and maintaining food and supplies Menu planning Assist with cleaning responsibilities Exceptional people skills Demonstrates cheerful attitude toward residents, family members, and visitors Ability to work well with other staff members Flexibility in work schedule and duties Functions within a budget Perform other duties as required by the position or as assigned
