Job Description
Job Summary Casa De Madera Mexican Food Truck is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environment and helping maintain clean, organized, and efficient kitchen operations. Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient preparation. Wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients. Help prepare ingredients for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other menu items. Support cooks during busy service periods. Keep food preparation areas clean and organized. Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Stock ingredients, containers, and kitchen supplies. Help receive and organize food and supply deliveries. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Remove trash and maintain clean work areas. Help maintain food quality and proper storage. Support other kitchen team members as needed. Follow all workplace safety and food-service procedures. Qualifications Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience preferred. Food preparation experience is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Good attention to cleanliness and organization. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen or food-truck environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work. Ability to lift and move kitchen supplies when needed. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. Pay:
