Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions, order processing, and cash handling Manage customer orders with accuracy, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment and food prep areas Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end Support food safety protocols by following sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices Assist with opening duties such as setting up the kitchen, restocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly Requirements Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong food preparation skills with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy mornings Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus Join us in creating an energetic start to every day!
