Job Description
Kensington School is looking for a Kitchen Attendant for our early childhood center! Our food is catered by Organic Life daily- no cooking is involved! We are in search of someone who can manage the kitchen, ensuring the kitchen is clean and runs smoothly as well as delivering the meals to each classroom. Our Kitchen Attendant will collect all dishes after meal service and wash, rinse and sanitize all dishes until everything is ready for the next meal service. Our Kitchen Attendants become the heart of our school, helping all of the teachers and children. Join our team and become a part of our family! Must have experience working around food allergies/dietary restrictions. Must love children! 95% of this job is dishwashing. This position is 100% on your feet. Must complete a physical, including immunization record Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must pass a state of Illinois background check Must have a ServeSafe training certificate, manager certification preferred This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
