Kitchen Staff Job Description The Kitchen Staff member is responsible for portioning and serving meals and snacks while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Portion and serve meals and snacks according to the school menu and schedule. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Be familiar with all children's food allergies and dietary restrictions and prevent cross-contact. Check with management whenever there is a question regarding an allergy, food substitution, or dietary restriction. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishes, counters, appliances, and food-storage areas. Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies. Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need to be ordered. Deliver meals and snacks to classrooms on time. Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers and management. Report concerns, problems, or conflicts directly to management. Follow all school policies and licensing requirements. Complete other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
