JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for dependable, hardworking Night & Weekend Kitchen Team Members to join our team. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. This is a hands-on restaurant position focused on cooking, food preparation, customer service, cleaning, and closing the restaurant . This position does not have management or supervisory responsibilities. Team members are expected to work efficiently, maintain high food and cleanliness standards, provide friendly customer service, and work together to complete all required closing responsibilities. Pay ranges from $17.05 to $20.00 per hour based on restaurant experience, availability, and skill level. Evening shifts typically begin around 4:00 PM and continue through restaurant close and completion of closing duties. Weekend availability is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cook and prepare menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards. Prepare meats, rice, salads, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients as assigned. Work grill, shawarma, fryer, assembly line, register, and other restaurant stations as needed. Assemble and package dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering orders accurately. Provide friendly and efficient customer service. Greet customers and assist with questions about menu items. Operate the POS system and process cash and credit card transactions when assigned. Maintain proper food portions, presentation, and quality standards. Restock food, supplies, utensils, and service areas throughout the shift. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift. Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and restaurant supplies as needed. Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, remove trash, and complete general cleaning duties. Clean kitchen equipment and food preparation areas. Complete assigned food preparation for the following day's operations. Properly store, label, rotate, and organize food products. Complete all assigned closing duties before leaving. Work as part of a team and assist coworkers during busy periods. Follow instructions from shift leaders, managers, and ownership. Perform additional cooking, prep, cleaning, and restaurant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Previous experience in a fast-casual or high-volume restaurant is a plus. Must be dependable and consistently punctual. Must be available for evening shifts beginning around 4:00 PM and working through close . Weekend availability is required. Must obtain a valid Food Handler Certificate within two weeks of employment. Must be comfortable working with food and performing kitchen duties. Must be willing to cook, prep, clean, wash dishes, and assist customers. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to follow recipes, portioning standards, and instructions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Must maintain a clean and organized work area. Must be able to stay productive throughout the entire shift, including slower periods. Must be able to complete all assigned closing duties before leaving.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for team members who are reliable, hardworking, willing to learn, and willing to help wherever needed . This is not a position where employees stay at one station for the entire shift. Team members may cook, prep food, serve customers, clean, restock, wash dishes, and complete closing duties depending on the needs of the restaurant. Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and the ability to work multiple stations may qualify for higher hourly pay and opportunities for advancement into additional responsibilities or leadership roles .

INTRODUCTORY PERFORMANCE PERIOD

This position includes a 30-day introductory evaluation period , with an initial check-in after approximately two weeks . Performance will be evaluated based on reliability, work pace, food quality, cleanliness, customer service, teamwork, and overall fit for the position.
