Job Description

Job Overview Small family oriented Bar / Restaurant needing good kitchen help. We are open 7 days / week. We also have a separate kitchen running Fri, Sat, and Sun in our well known Fish Stand. Prep work for this is somewhat flexible, and can ensure I have enough hours to meet your needs. Typically, your schedule will be "set", with changes only for vacations etc. •Hiring 1 or 2 people depending on scheduling needs. Many shifts are 1 person, with some overlap during peak hours. This means you will work independently, but set-up / help others as needed. Parties / events may need flexibility. :-) Food is typical burgers / Wings etc., with daily Lunch and Dinner specials for variety. I need people with a positive attitude and a great work-ethic. (ie: if we schedule overlap hours and it's not busy, we work on projects to ensure cleaning is kept up on etc.) Experience Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is required Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is essential Culinary experience including basic cooking skills, knife skills, and meal preparation is Familiarity with line cooking, catering, or food industry operations will support success in this role Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an opportunity for a long-term placement within the food industry. Pay:
$15.00 - $22.00 per hour
