This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, basic culinary skills, and a strong work ethic to contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards Handle food safely and hygienically during meal prep and service Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations Assist with meal plating and presentation as needed Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Basic knife skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment Culinary experience or background in the food industry is advantageous Excellent teamwork and communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Join our team as a Kitchen Helper to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a dynamic food service environment.
