Duties Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poachers, braising pans, and food production machinery safely and efficiently Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and executing meal components with precision Handle food handling responsibilities with care, ensuring proper storage and portioning of ingredients Contribute to high-volume production environments by maintaining speed and accuracy during busy service times Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines and food safety protocols while preparing meals for service or catering events Assist with food service tasks such as plating, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Experience Previous dietary aide experience or background working in a dietary department is preferred Proven food industry experience with a focus on food preparation, cooking, or catering services Familiarity with fine dining or restaurant environments is advantageous Demonstrated skills in knife handling, grilling, braising, poaching, and other culinary techniques Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential High-volume production experience and ability to follow recipes accurately are highly valued Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable meals in a fast-paced setting!
