Duties Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, including lesson preparation and student supervision Support students with their learning needs, providing guidance and encouragement to promote engagement Help manage classroom behavior by implementing positive reinforcement strategies Prepare materials for lessons, including organizing supplies and setting up equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a safe learning space Support food service activities when applicable, including meal setup and clean-up in school cafeterias Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding meal times, dietary needs, and food safety standards Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and operating kitchen equipment is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety standards in production, handling, and service environments Experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering is advantageous Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and support team members Basic culinary skills including knife handling, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence Ability to follow safety protocols related to food handling and meal preparation Prior experience with food safety management systems or food safety certifications is a plus Join us as a Full-Time Teacher Assistant and be part of a vibrant team committed to nurturing student success through energetic support and dedicated service.
