Job Summary We're looking for a motivated and reliable Kitchen Help/Prep team member to join our culinary crew. In this role, you'll be an essential part of preparing ingredients, assisting with food prep, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen space. Duties Assist in food preparation by slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following established recipes and standards. Support the kitchen team with meal prep tasks to ensure timely service during busy hours. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including knives, slicers, and cooking appliances. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients. Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling of ingredients and adherence to health standards. Help with menu assembly and plating to support the culinary team in delivering quality dishes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, dietary department, or restaurant environment is a plus but not required—training will be provided! Knowledge of food safety management and proper food handling techniques. Basic knife skills and slicing techniques are desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting. Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards in food production. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new culinary skills and support team efforts. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 50.0 per week
