Role:
The Expediter plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for coordinating between the kitchen, service staff, and supply chain to guarantee timely and accurate order processing and delivery. The Expediter ensures that all materials and equipment are properly managed and maintained to support uninterrupted service. By effectively communicating and managing resources, the Expediter helps maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Ultimately, this role is essential in bridging the gap between the kitchen and customer service to optimize overall workflow and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency in speaking and understanding English to communicate clearly with team members and customers. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate between multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in room service or hospitality operations. Familiarity with process order systems. Certification or training in food safety and hygiene standards. Experience working in a high-volume accommodation or food service setting. Additional language skills to support diverse customer and team interactions.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and expedite the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area or room service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, service personnel, and suppliers to resolve any issues or delays. Monitor and maintain equipment used in food preparation to prevent disruptions. Work under pressure during peak hours to maintain smooth operations and high-quality service standards.
