menu items with consistency, care, and pride. This role focuses on food preparation, line execution, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Taquero/a reports to the Principal Taquero/a and restaurant management and supports the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and great guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Culinary Execution Prepare and cook menu items according to

recipes and standards. Execute assigned station duties during prep and service with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure food quality, flavor, portioning, and presentation meet expectations at all times. Food Safety & Cleanliness Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after service. Properly handle, store, label, date, and rotate ingredients according to established procedures. Teamwork & Kitchen Support Work collaboratively with the Back-of-House team to maintain a smooth service flow. Communicate clearly with the Principal Taquero/a, restaurant management, and teammates during service. Support fellow team members and step in where needed to maintain service and quality standards. Operational Support Assist with food preparation, restocking, and station setup and breakdown as assigned. Properly use, clean, and care for kitchen tools, equipment, and smallwares. Follow all Back-of-House systems, procedures, recipes, and daily checklists. Skills & Qualifications Previous kitchen or line-cook experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow recipes, standards, and instructions consistently. Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation requirements. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency during service. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Dependable, punctual, and willing to support the team wherever needed. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required. Key Performance Indicators Menu items are prepared accurately, on time, and according to recipe and portion standards. Food quality, flavor, and presentation remain consistent throughout service. Workstation and kitchen areas remain clean, stocked, and organized throughout each shift. Food safety and sanitation standards are followed consistently. Demonstrates reliable teamwork, communication, attendance, and dependability. Physical Expectations Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks as needed. Comfortable working around heat, humidity, cold storage, kitchen equipment, and common food allergens, with or without reasonable accommodation. Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely handle food, equipment, and kitchen tools, with or without reasonable accommodation.
