Flute & Fork is looking for a dependable, energetic Kitchen & Culinary Team Member to join our growing restaurant.

This isn't a traditional line-cook position. Our menu focuses on thoughtfully prepared foods that can be efficiently prepped, assembled, baked, heated, and beautifully plated. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with food and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities may include:
Food preparation and portioning Preparing menu items according to recipes and standards Baking and reheating prepared items Preparing salads, flatbreads, shareables, desserts, and other menu offerings Plating and presentation Maintaining proper food temperatures and food-safety procedures Receiving and rotating inventory Keeping prep and kitchen areas clean and organized Dishwashing and sanitation as part of the team's shared responsibilities Assisting with catering and special events Helping develop new menu ideas as experience grows What we're looking for: Must be 21 or older Restaurant, bakery, catering, or commercial-kitchen experience preferred ServSafe certification preferred Kentucky alcohol-server certification preferred Comfortable following recipes and portion standards Clean, organized, efficient, and dependable Able to work independently and as part of a small team Willing to learn multiple stations rather than being limited to one jobWe're building a kitchen where everyone works together and good ideas are welcome.
