Position Summary As a Kitchen Utility, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment, sorting and storing clean items, restocking supplies, and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness to ensure the dining area is always prepared for exceptional service.

This is a full time, temporary position located in Framingham.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSSet up and maintain dishwashing stationKeep the entire kitchen clean, free and clear of debrisRemove all garbage from kitchen and dining roomSweep and mop floor daily, and more frequently if needed Clean interior and exterior of refrigerators and freezersReceive and store deliveries; Rotate stockAssist in food preparation and meal packaging Reheat and serve meals on weekends and holidaysSet up and break down serving area and dining room

DEMANDSStand for up to 8 hoursLift items weighing between 10 to 50 poundsConstant bending and reaching as high as 8 feet, using step ladder if necessaryWalk and deliver meals through heated hallwaysHandle equipment at temperatures as high as 500 degreesHandle temperatures as low as ten below zeroHandle knives and other sharp objects appropriately and safelyWithstand having your hands submerged in water for up to 5 hours a day
