We are looking to fill a food prep/utility position where you will help maintain the day-to-day kitchen operations by taking part in food prep, assisting the chef and cooks, and taking responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Follow the prep and project list created by the chef to plan duties. Prepare cooking ingredients, washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meats, cheeses, etc. Learn recipes and preparation of dishes such as salads, sandwiches, sides, entrees, etc. Prepare catering equipment and supplies for catering events. Deliver caterings as needed. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash/recyclables, sweeping/mopping and organizing. Assist with ordering and inventories. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines. Assist with food running and table flipping during service. Most importantly - be positive, professional, approachable and energetic to accomplish daily tasks!
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience (if you have no professional kitchen experience, please provide a cover letter explaining why you think you'd be a good fit!) Interest in learning and growth
