At Muffin House Cafe, our Kitchen staff is responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch items with consistency, efficiency and attention to detail. This role plays a key part in daily kitchen operations and requires the ability to work in a face-paced environment while maintaining quality and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare sandwiches and other menu items to order with accuracy, consistency, and in a timely manner Follow recipes, portion guidelines and presentation standards Perform daily food prep to ensure kitchen readiness Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work station at all times Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times Monitor product freshness and properly rotate all items FIFO (first in, first out) Assist with restocking, dishwashing and overall kitchen organization Qualifications Previous kitchen or sandwich line experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Schedule 5am-1pm Flexible availability including mornings, weekends and holidays as needed

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
