Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production to ensure timely meal service Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling standards Follow recipes precisely to maintain consistency in taste and presentation across all menu items Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with special dietary requests or catering needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety management protocols Contribute to high-volume production by efficiently managing multiple tasks during busy service periods Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and foster a positive kitchen environment Skills Proven dietary aide experience or dietary department experience preferred Strong food safety knowledge and ability to implement sanitizing procedures effectively Experience with food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and knife skills Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment and tools used in food industry settings Previous restaurant or catering experience demonstrating food handling and high-volume production skills Knowledge of recipe adherence, meal preparation, and food safety management practices Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will shine!
