Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Follow recipes precisely to ensure meal consistency and adherence to menu plans. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold food safety standards. Support meal assembly and plating for various dining services or catering events. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, food service, or culinary settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety management and safety standards in production environments. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail in food handling, slicing techniques, and cleaning routines. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members. Familiarity with catering experience or restaurant environments is a plus. Pay:
