Quality Control Assistant - Join a Growing Food Production Team!
Pay Rate:
$18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Assignment Length:
Temp-to-Hire We are hiring a Quality Control Assistant for a day shift role with our client, a growing food production company offering long-term career potential. This position pays $18.00/hour and is temp-to-hire . Typical daily duties:
Monitoring food production activities to ensure quality and food safety standards are met Conducting pre-operational and operational inspections throughout the facility Reviewing and completing documentation related to food temperatures, cooking, chilling, and product handling Generating and distributing daily worksheets, labels, and production documents Verifying labeling accuracy and assisting with inventory reconciliation Communicating with production staff and serving as a liaison between production and office teams Utilizing Microsoft Office and other basic software programs to complete quality assurance tasks Assisting on production lines and supporting product movement between production, cooling, and storage areas as needed What we're looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong motivation and ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment Comfortable being on your feet for 90%-100% of the workday Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels Previous food manufacturing or HACCP experience is helpful but not required Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail To be considered for this Quality Control Assistant opening in Bangor , please contact us using any of the methods below.
