Job description:
Kitchen Associates are expected to prepare the food that will be used by the deli to make salads, soups and meals. Appliances used include grills, fryers, ovens, stove tops and soup kettles.
Duties:
Cook the food needed by the Deli each day Assist department manager and associates all ways necessary. Clean the work areas and maintain tools and equipment. Coordinate with other staff in following food safety and hygiene procedures according to company policy. Ensure prompt service and high level of customer satisfaction. Requirements Physical ability to sometimes lift heavy products Work in a standing position Operating knowledge of cooking appliances Ability to understand and follow instructions and regulations regarding food safety and sanitation Effective time management Basic math and computation skills Ability to work a full time schedule weekly

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
