Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring guest spaces are tidy and inviting. Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Serve food and beverages efficiently during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently for dine-in or takeout customers. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing any concerns professionally. Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guest tables promptly while maintaining quality standards. Assist with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak hours and special events. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations including food preparation, cleaning routines, and basic safety practices. Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is essential. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent guest service abilities are vital for success in this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles will be considered an asset.
