Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Preparer for Preschool to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for young children, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Your culinary skills and dedication will contribute to a positive and healthy dining experience that supports our children's growth and development. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble preschool meals and snacks following approved menus and recipes Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety standards and sanitation protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment regularly Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times Follow recipe guidelines precisely to ensure consistent quality in meal offerings Assist with menu planning to accommodate dietary needs and preferences of young children Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques suitable for preschool-age,d children Familiarity with food safety management practices and handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and food presentation abilities Experience with meal planning, recipe adherence, and catering is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and team members Join us at Minto's Casa where your culinary talents will help foster a joyful, healthy environment for children's growth!
