The ideal candidate for this position is a professional with experience working in a restaurant setting, that is detail oriented and is able to work as part of a team or on their own.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities: Prepare Tea sets and cafe items as ordered Open and close the expo station/kitchen as directed Prepare all non-pastry items (spreads, jams, fillings, sauces, and cafe offerings for example) Lead execution of all catering orders. Other duties as assigned When business is too slow to support a dishwasher: Wash china (teapots, teacups, strainers) and kitchen tools (occasionally by hand) Sort and stack clean dishes into the china closet Transfer clean dishes to the proper storage areas Setup and/or break-down dishwashing area

Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Can stand on feet for extended periods of time. Work in small spaces. Maintain a positive attitude. Collaborate with other team members. Keep a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail. Creative problem solving skills. Reliable transportation to/from work
