Job Description

Position Overview:
The Membership Coordinator at Lakeshore Food Club plays a pivotal role that significantly contributes to our community impact. This role involves onboarding new members, providing essential support to ensure their successful engagement with our programs, collaborating closely with community partners to offer wraparound service referrals, assisting the Program Manager in program implementation, maintaining membership data, and running monthly reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding New Members:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new Lakeshore Food Club members, ensuring a smooth transition into our programs. Conduct orientation sessions to educate new members about available services and resources. Provide personalized support to members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding their membership. 2. Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
Screening:
o Conduct SDOH screenings for members to identify social factors impacting their health and well-being. Utilize screening results to connect members with appropriate resources and support services that address their specific needs.
Program Support and Implementation:
Support planning, implementing, and evaluating health and nutrition programs and initiatives. Coordinate program activities and ensure that they align with the overall mission and objectives of Lakeshore Food Club.
Membership Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership data in the organization's database. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations while handling member information. Regularly review and update member records to reflect changes in status or contact information.
Reporting and Analysis:
Run monthly reports on membership statistics and program participation to track engagement and identify trends. Analyze data with management staff to assess program effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on findings. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred. Must be Bilingual Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or administration, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Strong understanding of community resources and services available to support vulnerable populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
