Full Job Description Kitchen Assistant Compensation:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time Sunday through
Friday Shifts:
7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and versatile Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of a high-volume kitchen. This role assists with food preparation, meal service, cleaning, dishwashing, and inventory while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and basic cooking for daily meal service Set up food stations and bring out food for meal periods Monitor food stations during meals and replenish items as needed Check and stock paper goods before and during meal service Wash pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace Assist with post-meal cleanup of the kitchen and dining areas Unload deliveries and safely store food, supplies, and inventory Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations Assist with additional kitchen and food service responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move inventory boxes and supplies Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time and part-time opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement
