Plaza Lanes is seeking superstars!! Come join our team as Kitchen Staff! if you are looking for a fun, fast-paced, and flexible schedule and work environment, this job is for you! (Entry-Level job, great for College Students!)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion guidelines
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures according to local health regulations.
- Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and notify management when supplies run low.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and proper storage of food items.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment regularly.
- Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.
- Support and coordinate with Front-of-house staff by ensuring food orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
- Follow guidelines for handling food allergens and dietary restrictions.
MINIMUM QUALITIES
(KNOWLEDGESKILLS AND ABILITIES
): Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.) Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred High energy and stamina are required Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively Strong verbal communication skills required Willingness to work evenings/nights and weekends as required Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents Ages 18 and up preferred, but not requiredJob Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay:
