Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Staff member, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food service and customer satisfaction. This position involves various responsibilities, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Heartland POS for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Experience Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, with knowledge of food handling practices. Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Experience in sales and upselling techniques is beneficial. An age of 16 or older is required for the daytime and 18 yeas of age or older for nighttime. Pay Day shift employees start at $13.73 an hour and night shift start at $14.73 an hour. Employees should expect to also receive $1-1.5 an hour in tipped wages.
