In this role, you will support meal preparation, ensure cleanliness standards are maintained, and collaborate closely with kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to food safety and excellence. Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling meals according to established recipes and menu plans Operate various kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, mixers, and knives, adhering to safety standards in production Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations Support food prep activities such as slicing, portioning, and packaging meals efficiently and accurately Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and address any operational needs Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels or shortages Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly preferred Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cooking, and operating kitchen equipment safely Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal assembly in a food service or restaurant setting Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient food prep Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Familiarity with catering or large-scale food service operations is a plus Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout shifts Embark on a rewarding journey where your culinary talents make a meaningful difference! $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
